My Experience

Taking a Week Off

I’ve been blogging three times a week for quite a while. I’ve missed a few days here and there. For the most part, I’ve been consistent and it’s fueled my excitement for advocacy. That being said, I’ve gone through periods of burnout. I have gotten through them by focusing on my mental health. Through all of those ups and downs, I still managed to post tri-weekly. I am excited to say that I’m going on vacation for spring break and taking a week off.

This vacation is about as covid safe as you can make a vacation. I’m vaccinated, doing a road trip, and staying in AirBnB’s. I need a break. Graduation is around the corner. I started a new job. I have been working on my senior project. It’s taken days to apply to graduate school. I blog three times a week. On top of all that, I volunteer with Dysautonomia International. In addition, I try to have a life. All of that while having a chronic illness that could be considered a full time job someday. I am exhausted.

I’m only taking a week away but I think that week will bring me more inspiration. It will also bring me inner peace and help my psyche a bit. I think we’re all feeling the intensity of the times.

All of that being said, I hope that you’re having an amazing day. I hope that you have an awesome week ahead of you. I hope that it is filled with joy, positivity, and laughter. I hope that you find peace, love, and happiness! I’ll meet you back here in a week!
