My Experience

Exciting Things Are Coming!

Hello All! I am back! It has been far too long since I posted and here’s why:
Life has been crazy. July unfortunately challenged me in just about every way possible. Not only did I have several trips to the Emergency Room, I started my new job, and moved. While working at my new job, I continued to fill my position at my previous one. They didn’t have anyone to start when I planned to leave so I wanted to help them out. I was going to a wide variety of doctors appointments. All in all, it was just an overwhelming month.

Let me catch you up on what is going on! I started Cardiac Rehab. I started at the beginning of August rather than my anticipated start date in July. I also started getting weekly fluid infusions in an attempt to give myself more energy. I am fully moved into my apartment and I love it. I feel completely at home and I cannot express how at peace my heart is. It has truly given me the opportunity to grow and flourish safely within my own space. I am thriving at my new job. I am finally starting to have a regular schedule with clients of my own and I couldn’t be more excited. About a week ago, I finally said goodbye to my old job at the senior living community I was working at. I can pick up hours occasionally but it was a much more difficult goodbye than I expected. It was highly anticipated and much needed but still challenging. Now, I have finally taken back my time. I have left space and time for myself on the weekends. This means that I can get back to putting time into the things that rejuvenate and help my soul. That comes in the form of blogging and chronic illness advocacy.

Exciting things are coming! I have archived all of my previous posts on Instagram and for the most part redid a large majority of my website. I’m ready to start fresh. I have changed immensely throughout the couple years I have been blogging. It’s crazy to think that when I started this, I didn’t have Crush yet. That seems like a lifetime ago. I plan to go back to posting three times a week. I want to focus on reviews, health content, and chronic illness hacks. We are going back to basics.

As always, if you’re interested in Shapermint, you can use my discount code in the left side bar. Otherwise, I am now an Amazon Affiliate! All of my favorite products are linked at the top of my website. That way we can try things together. What works for me may not work for you or vice versa but since Chronic Illness is a journey, it’s always worth a shot. If you’re thinking of buying something, I’d really appreciate it if you use that link, it really helps me out!

Finally and the thing that I’m most excited about, I’m collaborating with Creative Claire Co. Claire runs an Etsy shop! It is tailored to mindfulness, reflection, and processing journals. Right up my alley. Together we’re going to create bundles specific to chronic illness. We’re still in the beginning stages but I can’t wait to share it with you.

Wow, that was a lot and I think that’s all the updates for now. Thank you to everyone who has been sticking with me through this impromptu break. It was not an easy thing to give up blogging for a while but it was extremely necessary to stay sane.

I hope that you’re having a magical day. I hope that your day is filled with joy, positivity, and laughter. I hope you find peace, love, and happiness.
