A Review of Manta Sleep Masks
I bought a new sleep mask. I have been using sleep masks for the past few years. I find that I can’t sleep without them now. My old one was getting a little gross so I decided it was time for an upgrade. Someone suggested Manta to me and so I went for it!
I bought the weighted sleep mask for $39.99. That seemed pretty steep for a sleep mask, but then again my old one was $5 and I used it for three years. I’m hoping that a $40 mask lasts at least five years. So let’s talk about the good, the bad, and everything in between.
The shipping was quick. The buying experience was pleasant. I looked at all my options and compared them to each other before making my decision. I went with the weighted mask because I thought it would definitely be the most beneficial. I’ve heard amazing things about weighted items. Specifically, weighted items can be helpful to calm the nervous system which is important to me.
The mask itself is well made. The eye cups came separately, which I appreciate. It allows the mask to have a longer life. I imagine the longevity of the mask itself is far better than the eye cups, although I didn’t look into that too much. I think it’s a good system. The eye cups attach through velcro type material. It’s not itchy or bothersome which was my first concern when I saw it. The back closure is also velcro. That bothers me a bit but I don’t know what the alternative would be. I wish they had sizes for the band. When my hair is in a pony, I close the mask below it and the band is too big. It still fits but it’s looser than I would prefer. Most days I wear my hair down to bed and it’s not an issue but it is something to note.
The mask came with a mesh storage bag. I thought that was a nice touch. Overall, besides the band size and velcro, I don’t see a lot of downsides to this product. It’s really served me well so far. I’ve been more still while sleeping which is a bonus that I didn’t expect. One could argue that as pure exhaustion but I think the mask helps either way. If you can afford it, I think it’s well worth the money.
I think this would be a great time to be able to compare products and items. All I have to compare to is a cheap mask from Primark. Manta is miles better than that. I’d say it’s a huge step up from most masks I’ve seen or tried.
I hope you’re having an amazing day. I hope your day is filled with joy, positivity, and laughter. I hope you find peace, love, and happiness.

You can sew–just shorten the band to fit your needs 🙂
