A Review of Who Gives A Crap
Recently, I was scrolling on Tik Tok and came across a sustainable brand I had never heard of, Who Gives A Crap. I was intrigued as it was branded as an impactful way to sustainably purchase toilet paper. Paper of any sort can be bad for the planet. The toilet paper I purchased was 100% recycled 3-ply. Let’s get into the process and my thoughts. Ordering through their website was super easy. You get a variety of options, including a subscription service. I opted to subscribe because I am constantly forgetting to get toilet paper as my rolls run out. I ordered 24 rolls every eight weeks. When I signed…

A Review of Pela
Happy Wednesday! Today I am going to be doing a review of Pela! About a month ago, I started looking for a new phone case. I wanted it to be sustainable and not have a significant impact on the planet. When I googled sustainable phone cases, the companies that came up were Casetify and Pela. I personally have never bought from Casetify but I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews. After looking through their website a bit, I decided that it really wasn’t for me. I moved on to Pela. I fell in love with the Honey (Bee Edition) Wallet Case. It drew me in immediately. They actually had quite…

A Review of LMNT
Happy Friday! We’ve officially made it through another week. Hooray! Today, I’m going to be reviewing LMNT. This brand offers packets of drink mix with electrolytes in them. They’re comparable to Liquid IV. While they are comparable to Liquid IV, there’s a lot that sets LMNT apart. For example, they have no shower and only 2 grams of carbs per packet. It’s very heavy on salt, while including potassium and magnesium as well. I was sponsored as part of their Hydrate a Hero promotion and I got a free kit with a ton of products. They gave me about 5 of their various flavored packets. This included Mango Chili, Lemon…

A Review of Mary Ruth's Organics
Happy Wednesday! Today, we’re going to be talking all about vitamins. Unfortunately, I’ve been plagued by several different vitamin deficiencies. They eb and flow but I stay on a constant stream of supplements to avoid any significant drops. Over the years, I’ve tried a wide range of supplements. There are brands that I’ve loved and brands that well, really missed the mark. So where does Mary Ruth’s Organics fall on that scale? I honestly love Mary Ruth’s. There are a few different products I’ve tried. The range in which I like them varies but overall the brand would get an A from me. Let’s go through the products I’ve tried.…

A Zenni Review: One Year Later
Last year, I wrote a review of Zenni. Zenni is an online company. It allows you to buy your prescription glasses at a cheaper price than the store. As someone who wears bifocals, a cheaper price was extremely intriguing. My overall consensus last year was that Zenni is a great brand. I’m back now, after a year of wearing my Zenni glasses to check in and give you my thoughts. I have three pairs of glasses. Two are regular glasses with my bifocal prescription. The other is a pair of sunglasses, also with my bifocal prescription. My two pairs of everyday glasses have gone through major wear and tear. Crush…

A Review of Manta Sleep Masks
I bought a new sleep mask. I have been using sleep masks for the past few years. I find that I can’t sleep without them now. My old one was getting a little gross so I decided it was time for an upgrade. Someone suggested Manta to me and so I went for it! I bought the weighted sleep mask for $39.99. That seemed pretty steep for a sleep mask, but then again my old one was $5 and I used it for three years. I’m hoping that a $40 mask lasts at least five years. So let’s talk about the good, the bad, and everything in between. The shipping…

A Review of Thinx Underwear
If you checked out my review of the Honey Pot Company, you might’ve found your way to this article. I’m on a journey to a no waste period. Part of that journey was cutting out pads. Like most women, I have break through bleeding that requires some security. I stumbled upon Youtube videos of influencers trying out Thinx. I thought I would give it a try myself. I bought a few different products and I’m here to tell you what I thought. My Shopping Experience I went into this blind. Besides the Youtube videos I watched, I had no sense of what I wanted. I knew that I wanted a…

A Review of Honey Pot Company
I recently switched to natural products. In an effort to truly take care of my body, I wanted all of my products to be natural. In July, I decided to stop the Depo Provera shot and allow my body to do what it does naturally. As a child, I dealt with recurrent ovarian cysts and I’ve been on birth control for almost ten years to control that. Now, I’m experiencing a wave of what happens post birth control. I needed feminine products but I wanted the company I trusted to have the same values I have for my body. That’s when I came across the Honey Pot Company. I’ve now…

A Review of Native Deodorant
Recently, I started trying out new natural products. I had heard a lot about Native Deodorant. They sponsor multiple Youtubers that I enjoy watching. I also appreciated their brand focus. After running out of my previous deodorant, I took the plunge. I bought both their new non-plastic deodorant in the scent Coconut and Vanilla. In addition, I got their travel mini deodorant in the scent Pumpkin Spice Latte. I bought them both from Target but they had to be ordered. I got the non-plastic one with two day shipping. The mini one took a week to ship. There’s not much to say about the ordering experience since I went through…

A Review of RoadID
Recently, after renewing my license I decided to get my medical alert band. What a random time to get a medical alert bracelet. It’s not random, I was given the option to signal I had a medical alert bracelet on my license. I thought this was a fantastic idea, I checked the box right away. Then I realized I really needed to get one and finally commit. I started my search for a medical alert bracelet over a year ago. It’s been quite the journey. I struggled to find one that was cute. I wanted it to look like jewelry but also have it be clear that it is a…
